ASSOCIATION OF CERAMIC TECHNOLOGISTS (ACerT)

The Association of Ceramic Technologists – a student body was started in the academic year 2004-2005. The aim of the association is to bring about an interaction among the students by conducting Technical Quiz, Group Discussions and Panel Discussions. It also invites eminent academicians and industrialists to deliver Guest Lectures about the recent advances in Ceramics and also the current Research and Industrial Scenario. As a part of its activity, every year the Association organizes a National Level Students’ Technical Symposium “ConCerT” (Congregation of Ceramic Technologists) under the guidance of the Department Faculty. The Symposium endeavors to exemplify the competence of young Ceramic Technologists on the current trends across the country.

STUDENT CHAPTER (InCerS)

InCerS – Students' chapter of Anna University was the first student chapter in India, started in association with Indian Ceramic Society. It provides unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests.
