Ph.D. Programme

Fifty Seven (57) studies have been completed in different fields of water resources engineering and water management. Presently thirty four (34) candidates are working on their Ph.D. programme with specialization in Hydraulics, Climate Change, IWRM, Periurban water issues, Ground Water Engineering, Urban Storm Water Modeling, Rain Water Harvesting, Waste Water Reuse, Tank System Rehabilitation, Irrigation Sociology, Gender issues,  etc.

The research programme was supported by UGC through research fellowship in sciences for meritorious students and also Government of The Netherlands, through Wageningen University supported five Ph.D fellowships in the field of Integrated Water Resources Management from 2006-2012. Anna University supports the Ph.D programme, two scholars (every year) through Anna Centenary Fellowship for the scholar registered in this Centre.
